Effective use of Traffic Exchanges part 2

Yesterday I was talking about the use of Traffic Exchanges in

your Internet Marketing Business and how to use Squeeze pages to

collect Names and email addresses.

Today I am going to elaborate on the ads you run on these

Exchanges and how they can be affective, In the first place, if you

are running ads for Affiliate products and are simply sending them to

the product page you are shooting yourself in the foot!  Sending people

to the product page does you no good at all because you are most likely

not getting anything back for all your surfing or purchased advertising.

In order to affectively sell Affiliate products in Traffic Exchanges

and actually get something in return you should send them to a page

of your own where you can garner their name and email address before

you send them to the sales page. This may sound just like using a Squeeze

page but there is one difference, Simply putting a Squeeze page on the

Traffic Exchange tends to turn people off and make them just click on by

your ad, but putting the product in front of them first, means when they click

to see the product they are already interested in the product so getting them

to submit their information should be much easier.

This method also gives you more options as far as putting a freebie in

front of the product or putting a backend sale on the product page, simply

sending them to a page you control will open up all kinds of beneficial options

for you and the customer instead of just a one time commission on a sale to

a page where someone else is getting the information you worked so hard to get.

Remember now, 97% of the people using Traffic Exchanges are doing it

for the same reason you are, Traffic!  So the majority of these people are not

interested in your product at all, they are simply surfing for credits because

they are already in a program or already have a product they are selling.

In order for you as a Marketer to get someone to stop and read or even

click on your sales page the ad has to Stand out from the crowd! It must

Catch their attention enough to make them stop surfing, Not an easy task

in todays World Wide Web. Catchy graphics work rather well and Video is

starting to do very well also, with one draw back, and that is Videos tend

to make the surfing experience more of a challenge than most surfers care

for because they generally slow down the process and tend to jam up many

sites who are using tools such as Firefox or any other power surfing tool of this

nature.   My suggestion is use the splendid graphics on your sales page but save

the audio or video for the page they click to from the Traffic Exchange thus

making every one happy! Your not slowing their Surfing and your ads are still

getting the attention they deserve.

More important than the graphics is your Title and subtitle, If these do

not grab the reader by the eyeballs and get them to stop or even hesitate for

a moment and look , then you are sunk in shallow water. You most likely

cannot rely on graphics alone so make sure your Copy is top notch and Catchy.

The first step is getting them to stop and read, after that the sales pitch to

get them to click to your capture page and enter their information then onto

the sale itself with a backend sales opportunity attached for the extra sale, then

you have the most important part to do!  Follow up with your prospects whether

they buy or not, If they felt compelled to give you their information then you

should be compelled to follow up if for no other reason, courtesy!  Surely getting

the sale is most important for your bottom line but a one time sale means more and

more work for you in the long run, If you build a list and create relationships with the

people on your list you can make more money down the road with the same people.

thus freeing up your time for more important things. Like Life!

Please stay tuned! I am not finished with this subject by no means! This subject

is an ongoing saga of information and strategies that change from day to day as

technology and Marketing minds grow.  As I learn and test more and more, I will

share this knowledge with you but you must come here to get it so don’t be a

stranger and miss out on my ” AH Hah! ” moments.

Have a wonderful day and God Bless.

nice article however I noticed your link to startxchange is not correct so if you are getting traffic to your site you may be loosing sign ups.
Question if your showing squeeze pages in the traffic exchanges what Auto-responder are you using to do the follow ups when you capture the prospective buyer?
